Job summary

ITnova is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Aviation Capital Projects to support the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s Aviation Department. You will oversee capital and operating projects across Port Authority airports, coordinating with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience handling complex, concurrent infrastructure capital/operating projects.
• Experience in project planning, design, construction procurement, and asset turnover.

Responsibilities

• Manage aviation projects from initiation through close-out, including scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders across engineering, design, operations, finance, procurement, and management.
• Prepare and review RFPs, scopes of work, and procurement packages.
• Track risks, issues, decisions, and mitigation plans; report progress through dashboards and summaries.
