Job summary

ITnova is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Aviation Capital Projects to support the Port Authority of NY and NJ’s Aviation Department and its Core Capital Team. The Project Managers will oversee capital and operating projects across Port Authority airports, managing planning, design, procurement, construction, implementation, and close-out.

You will coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience on complex infrastructure projects.
• Experience in planning, design, procurement, construction, and turnover of assets.
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, budgets, risks, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage aviation projects from initiation through close-out.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, airlines, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare RFPs, scopes of work, and procurement packages.
• Track schedules, budgets, risks, and performance; implement mitigations.
• Produce status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
