Job summary

Embraer is seeking a Master Technician to perform a wide range of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. The role involves analyzing processes, guiding technical support, and assisting new operators while following FAA-approved procedures and drawings.

The candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in assembly, mechanical/electrical work, and aircraft structures, with strong skills in riveting, fabrication, and precision measurement.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of tasks within their Technical Area.
  • Experience across multiple Technical Areas.
  • Proficient in riveting, hardware installation, and precision instruments.
  • Able to fabricate parts per specifications.
  • Reads work orders, blueprints, and specifications for repair or fabrication.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies per drawings.
  • Work from diagrams, layouts, and use hand/power tools and fixtures.
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure conformance to specs.
  • Disassemble/modify/rework/test prototype assemblies as needed.
  • Prepare and submit work package documentation for FAA/osprey/repair standards.
  • Support QA for final inspection and airworthiness certification.
