Job summary

Embraer is seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Technician for second shift to inspect, repair, assemble, and test aircraft accessories in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM specifications. You will work from shop orders, utilize hand tools and testing devices, and ensure airworthiness through proper documentation and sign-off.

Applicant must hold an A&P license with 0–2 years of GA experience, and possess the ability to interpret OEM data and FAA work packages.

Qualifications

Requires A&P license and 0–2 years' aircraft/general aviation experience in one aircraft type
Experience with inspecting and maintaining aircraft components per OEM procedures
Ability to interpret manufacturer/FAA work package instructions and use test equipment

Responsibilities

Performs routine inspections and preventive maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems
Determines repair or replacement needs and sources parts accordingly
Repairs, reworks, and modifies worn or defective assemblies
Follows FAA-approved procedures and OEM data for repairs
Consults Maintenance Lead for technical guidance
Inspects completed work and performs rework as needed
Performs serviceability tests using OEM-specified equipment
Completes work package documentation and submits for QA sign-off
Provides performance data to supervisor as requested
Accurately accounts for time and materials used
