Job summary

JANUS Research Group seeks an Aviation Analyst - Attack, Recon Requirements Management Support with an active Secret clearance. The role conducts requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft and supports DOTMLPF-P gap analysis and system demonstrations.

Ideal candidates are Senior or Master rated Aviators with 15+ years of flight/combat experience and proven ability to produce graduate-level white papers and requirements documents, with experience in

• Senior or Master rated Aviator.
• Minimum 15 years of flight/combat experience.
• Attack/reconnaissance aviation operational experience preferred.
• Experience developing graduate-level white papers, concept papers, and requirements documents.
• Experience with Joint, Service, JUONS, and nonstandard requirements methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft.
• Perform life-cycle DOTMLPF-P gap and capability analysis.
• Analyze and recommend DOTMLPF-P adjustments for manned Reconnaissance and Attack aircraft.
• Support related system demonstrations and tests.
• Provide detailed analysis on tactical operational employment of Army Aviation Reconnaissance and Attack capabilities.

Aviation Analyst - Attack, Recon Requirements Management Support

Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Target salary range: $110k - $115k. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Position Summary: Conducts requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft and supports DOTMLPF-P gap analysis, requirements documentation, and system demonstrations/tests.

Primary Duties

Conduct requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft through Joint, Service, JUONS, and nonstandard requirements methodologies.

Perform life-cycle DOTMLPF-P gap and capability analysis through CBA, C-BA, and AoA.

Analyze and recommend DOTMLPF-P adjustments for manned Reconnaissance and Attack aircraft.

Support related system demonstrations and tests.

Provide detailed analysis on tactical operational employment of Army Aviation Reconnaissance and Attack capabilities to identify operational gaps.

Minimum / Preferred Qualifications

Senior or Master rated Aviator.

At least fifteen years of flight/combat experience.

Attack/reconnaissance aviation operational experience strongly preferred.

Experience developing graduate-level white papers, concept papers, and requirements documents.

Experience with Joint, Service, JUONS, and nonstandard requirements methodologies preferred.
