Job summary

JANUS Research Group in the United States seeks a Senior Aviator to conduct requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft, and to support DOTMLPF-P gap analysis, requirements documentation, and system demonstrations/tests.

The successful candidate will have at least fifteen years of flight/combat experience, a senior or master aviator rating, and experience with Joint, Service, JUONS, and nonstandard requirements methodologies.

Job description

Target salary range: $110k - $115k. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Position Summary: Conducts requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft and supports DOTMLPF-P gap analysis, requirements documentation, and system demonstrations/tests.

Primary Duties

• Conduct requirements analysis and capability assessments for reconnaissance and attack aircraft through Joint, Service, JUONS, and nonstandard requirements methodologies.
• Perform life-cycle DOTMLPF-P gap and capability analysis through CBA, C-BA, and AoA.
• Analyze and recommend DOTMLPF-P adjustments for manned Reconnaissance and Attack aircraft.
• Support related system demonstrations and tests.
• Provide detailed analysis on tactical operational employment of Army Aviation Reconnaissance and Attack capabilities to identify operational gaps.

Minimum / Preferred Qualifications

• Senior or Master rated Aviator.
• At least fifteen years of flight/combat experience.
• Attack/reconnaissance aviation operational experience strongly preferred.
• Experience developing graduate-level white papers, concept papers, and requirements documents.
• Experience with Joint, Service, JUONS, and nonstandard requirements methodologies preferred.
