Job summary

Alford Media, a specialized division of The Freeman Company, is seeking a Technician - Service and Systems based in Dallas, TX. This role maintains audiovisual equipment, diagnoses issues, repairs, and ensures event-ready reliability for rental inventory.

You will work in-office five days a week, perform preventative maintenance, coordinate with manufacturers, and keep repair records. A High School Diploma and at least one year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience repairing, troubleshooting, or maintaining audiovisual equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, align, and repair audiovisual equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality inspections on rental inventory.
• Refurbish equipment through cleaning, painting, and replacement of damaged or missing components.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors regarding repairs, technical support, and replacement parts.
• Maintain accurate repair records and inventory documentation.
• Order and track parts and materials required for repairs and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to warehouse and event teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
