UNICOM Government, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician to install, maintain, and repair high-end video teleconferencing, audio, and other telecommunications systems in Greensboro, NC or Chantilly, VA.

The role requires site surveys, planning, and supervision of technicians, with a focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities include cable installation, grounding, terminations, testing, and compliance with industry codes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in AV/IP/Unified Communications.
• Strong knowledge of LAN topologies and ANSI/TIA/EIA cabling standards.

Responsabilités

• Conduct site surveys using blueprints or floor plans and prepare survey reports.
• Develop job plans, material lists, and schedules with project managers.
• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot AV/IP/Unified Communications systems.
• Supervise technicians and ensure safety practices and compliance with codes.
• Maintain and document test results, as-built diagrams, and daily reports.
