Job summary

Spye is seeking a full-time install technician to join our team in Los Angeles. You will represent Spye in the field, install audio/video gear, cabling, racks, and control hardware, and ensure work follows project designs and standards.

The ideal candidate has data/AV knowledge, low-voltage experience, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and travel as required. Valid driver’s license and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Data & AV systems and installation practices.
• Experience in the low voltage industry and field service.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Represent Spye in the field and support installations.
• Install audio/video equipment, cables, racks, and control hardware.
• Set up projectors, displays, video walls, speakers, and related gear.
• Read prints and schematics to install equipment correctly.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and adapt to project schedules.
• Travel as needed and work evenings or weekends when required.
