An established community-focused organization is seeking a dedicated Audio/Video Technician to support creative and inspiring church services. This part-time role involves configuring and troubleshooting audio/video equipment, ensuring seamless livestreaming and recording of worship services. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Worship Team and other staff members, contributing to the mission of the church. Hours: Part-Time, approximately 2-3 hours per week
Purpose: Serving as Audio/Video Technician helps to ensure the church accomplishes its mission through the production of creative and inspiring services, special events and regular church programs.
General Description: The Audio/Video Technician serves as part of the Worship Team during services and works closely with all other church staff members as a team to further the vision and mission of CUMC. The Audio/Video Technician configures, operates, and troubleshoots all audio/video equipment used in the execution of services, special events and regular church programs. This includes a proficiency in audio/visual equipment and programs for connection to livestream and recording worship service for downloading to YouTube. The work requires work on Sundays. This position will also require some evening work to support various events and functions. Extra hours will be required of Holy Days including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and others.
