Job summary

North Wind Services (NWS) is seeking an Audio-Visual Technical Support Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and produce live events and manage complex AV equipment at LLNL in Livermore, CA. Candidates must obtain a DOE Q-level clearance and be a US citizen.

The role involves supporting onsite and remote events, pre-event dry runs, health checks, and postproduction follow-up, with collaboration across teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required with ability to obtain DOE Q-level clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, computer engineering or electro-optic technology, or equivalent.
• Extensive troubleshooting experience with AV systems.
• Experience in developing technical process documentation and best practices.
• Experience in video and audio recording.
• Proven ability to work with team at all levels of staff and management.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and produce live-streamed and video events (Webex, MS Teams, MS Stream).
• Collaborate with team to deliver results for on-site and remote events.
• Provide videographic guidance and manage event execution (preparation, testing, production, postproduction).
• Create proposal decks and activation/execution guides with internal colleagues.
• Test and diagnose projectors, mics, speakers, amps, and displays for events.
• Coordinate with AV OEMs for resolutions or workarounds as needed.
• Support company meetings requiring AV infrastructure and systems.
• Perform system testing to ensure room functionality.
