North Wind Services in Livermore, CA, seeks an Audio-Visual Technical Support Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and produce live-streamed and on-site events, diagnose complex AV equipment, and maintain systems.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, run pre-event dry runs, provide technical support during events, and perform regular health checks of AV gear, with DOE Q-level clearance requirement.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain US DOE Q-level security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, computer engineering or electro-optic technology, or equivalent.
• Highly advanced experience in troubleshooting AV systems.
• Advanced knowledge of developing technical process documentation and best practices.
• Advanced experience in video and audio recording.
• Proven ability to work effectively with team members and management.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.

Responsabilités

• Run event AV production workstreams, including live streaming via Webex, MS Teams, and MS Stream.
• Collaborate with team to deliver results.
• Provide videographic guidance and manage event production from prep to postproduction.
• Create proposal decks and activation/execution guides.
• Test and diagnose projectors, microphones, speakers, amps, displays for on-site/off-site meetings.
• Coordinate with AV OEMs for resolutions when required.
• Support meetings requiring AV infrastructure and control systems.
• Perform system testing to ensure equipment and room functionality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
