Job summary

North Wind Services (NWS) is seeking a Software Developer to support data management and analytic systems at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA. The role requires DOE Q clearance and a computer-related bachelor's degree, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

As an NWS employee at LLNL, you will develop new features, document processes, and collaborate with LLNL staff and sponsors.

Qualifications

Active DOE Q-level security clearance required.
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training/experience.
Ability to work under pressure with changing deadlines.
Strong judgment in dynamic environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration.
Experience handling confidential information with professionalism.
Proven troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
Ability to follow procedural guidelines and document work processes.
Experience administering Windows/Mac/Linux environments.

Responsibilities

Software development support for data management and analytics systems; implement new features and updates.
Provide knowledge transfer and consultation to LLNL staff in data analytics.
Coordinate with project Sponsor as needed to resolve issues or explain legacy systems.
