Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an AV Engineer to join a top client in New York, NY. The role focuses on designing and engineering a central rack room and a digital AV network spanning multiple event spaces.

The AV Engineer will collaborate on backend AV solutions, optimize workflows, develop test plans, and document all design and implementation activities. Onsite in NYC five days a week with a competitive compensation package and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in AV systems integration and backend AV solutions.
• Expertise with PTX platforms and related engineering processes.
• Strong skills in testing, validation, and automation workflows.
• Familiarity with NAC profiling in AV environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on the design and integration of backend systems with AV/event management platforms.
• Engineer and optimize workflows for device control, monitoring, and automation.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure system functionality.
• Support engineering activities related to PTX and NAC profiling.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AV technologies into existing systems.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation throughout design and implementation.
