Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking an AV Lead Engineer in New York, NY to spearhead the design and engineering of the central AV rack room and a digital ST2110 network across multiple event spaces.

You will lead technical design efforts, develop architecture and signal flows, specify hardware/software, and oversee integrations to ensure scalable, future-proof AV environments while guiding supporting engineers in stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in ST2110 and advanced broadcasting technologies.
• Strong AV architecture and networked media systems knowledge.
• Experience in systems integration and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to lead complex AV system design and engineering projects.
• Hands-on experience with IPTV technology.

Responsibilities

Position Overview/Responsibilities for the AV Lead Engineer:

• Develop comprehensive system architecture and signal flow diagrams.

• Oversee integration requirements and conduct interoperability testing to ensure seamless operation.
• Ensure the scalability and future-proofing of the AV environment to meet evolving needs.
• Provide technical leadership/guidance to supporting engineers and represent AV engineering in stakeholder meetings.
