Job summary

Bluewater Technologies Group, Inc. is seeking an Audio Visual Systems Engineer to translate client needs into high‑quality system designs.

You’ll blend engineering expertise with creative problem‑solving, partnering with Sales, Engineering, and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle. You will design A/V solutions, produce detailed drawings, and validate BOMs while supporting installation teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the Audio-Visual industry, with at least 2 years in a design/engineering capacity.
• Technical degree in electrical, mechanical, computer engineering, or related field preferred.
• CTS or CTS-D certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Pro Audio, Video, Display, Projection, Digital Signage, Control Systems, Conferencing platforms, and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer A/V solutions across conference rooms, classrooms, corporate HQ, stadiums, and performance spaces.
• Create drawings: Floor Plans, Ceiling Plans, Elevations, Rack Layouts, Details, Single Line diagrams, and Connection Details.
• Build and validate final equipment lists and BOMs based on project requirements and budgets.
• Conduct site surveys and needs analysis; document findings and inform design.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Project Managers to define scopes, estimates, and proposals.
• Provide technical guidance to installers and support teams; stay current with AV industry standards.
• Travel periodically for site surveys, project meetings, or installation support.
