Job summary

TRITECH Communications Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer (Design Engineer) to bridge sales and technology in our Audio-Visual division. You will lead technology design discussions, develop system designs, and prepare cost proposals in collaboration with account managers.

Reporting to the Director of Design, you will coordinate with architects and trades, refine budgets, and ensure system functionality with the project team. CTS/CTS‑D is preferred; CAD and Excel proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Associate's Degree Required; Bachelor's preferred in Electronics, Engineering, or similar field.
Experience in the Audio Visual integration field required.
CTS and CTS-D certification preferred.
Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills.
Be a self-starter, internally motivated to succeed, and able to manage daily activities.

Responsibilities

Lead technology design and discussion with stakeholders to meet client goals.
Develop preliminary system design drawings, construction documents, equipment specifications and cost proposals.
Create rough-order-of-magnitude budgets.
Coordinate with architects, MEP and trades.
Create sales proposals; send approved proposals to the client.
Maintain regular communication with clients and design team.
Work with Program Manager and Project Team to verify system functionality.
Develop and maintain knowledge of current and new technologies.
Provide sales and technical staff with lessons learned on both pre- and post-sales basis.
Collaborate with AV and Security design engineers and other disciplines.
