Job summary

Bridges System Integration is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our service team, focusing on cutting-edge integrated AV systems and client support for optimal performance and reliability. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, testing, and end-user training to ensure seamless operations on-site.

You will diagnose hardware/software issues, perform system testing and site surveys, and manage cable terminations and device configurations. CTS or equivalent training is favored.

Qualifications

• 5+ years combined experience in System Integration, AV/VTC installation, or on-site technical support.
• CTS certification preferred (or equivalent industry credential).
• Completion of manufacturer training from major platforms (AMX, Crestron, Barco, Biamp, Extron, or QSC).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve AV hardware and software issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform system testing, QA reviews, and site surveys to ensure high-quality installations.
• Support and operate AV and VTC systems, including hands-on end-user training.
• Complete AV/IT cable terminations and perform basic network setup.
• Connect and configure devices via IP or serial, including loading and adjusting DSP and control system files.
• Execute audio system setup and advanced video alignment for optimal performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and signal flows.
• Conduct remote and onsite troubleshooting for installed AV systems.
• Deliver clear, effective end-user training on system functionality and best practices.
