Job summary

Electra Link, Inc. in Houston/Spring, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing & Fleet Coordinator to support AV purchasing and fleet operations. This role will assist with inventory, vendor management, and administrative tasks across AV projects.

The successful candidate will work with AV Project Managers and operations to confirm material requirements, track orders, and ensure accurate documentation and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory, fleet administration, construction operations, or related function preferred.
• Working knowledge of AV, low-voltage, electrical, technology, or related products required.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing of AV materials, equipment, and supplies for projects across the company.
• Review purchase requests for specs, quantities, delivery dates, and approvals.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with procedures.
• Obtain vendor pricing, lead times, and warranty terms.
• Track open purchase orders, backorders, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate vendor returns, exchanges, and credits.
• Maintain purchasing records and supporting documentation.
