Job summary

IES is seeking a Technical Manager to supervise multiple PMs and Dispatchers, ensuring AV9000 certification, quality, safety, and financial performance. You will lead staff training, oversee scheduling, and drive project profitability while coordinating warehouse and field operations.

The role requires extensive AV integration experience, supervisory background, CTS‑I/CTS‑D credentials, and strong MS Office skills, with travel as needed across regional sites.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• CTS‑I and/or CTS‑D certification is required.
• Experience in customer interactions and General Contractor interactions.
• Minimum of five (5) years supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Commercial Audio Video.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and MS Project).
• Must meet Company driving standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and supervise multiple PMs.
• Ability to define a project, create a scope of work, and manage to completion.

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and implement AV9000 project certification technically.
• Prepare documentation and manage AV9000 certification status with AVAQ.
• Oversee staff compliance with AV9000 Technical and training.
• Ensure project profitability and staffing within budget.
• Supervise project staff, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Train PMs, Dispatchers, and field staff to meet goals.
• Conduct regular project status reviews and weekly scheduling.
• Oversee warehouse operations and delivery of AV components.
• Develop staff training plans and certifications for AV staff.
• Manage technical deliverables across programming, commissioning, and drawings.
