Job summary

CSAV Systems designs and integrates professional AV systems for commercial, corporate, municipal, institutional, and House of Worship clients. The AV Pre-Sales Engineer / Estimator will translate client goals into a clear, accurate proposal, developing the right technical solution and Bill of Materials.

Responsibilities include designing AV systems, reviewing drawings and RFPs, performing site surveys, and estimating equipment, labor, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial AV design, estimating, or integration.
• Understanding of AV signal flow and how integrated systems come together.
• Familiarity with DSP, conferencing, Dante, networking, and AV-over-IP.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop AV designs, Bill of Materials, pricing, scopes, and proposals.
• Design audio, video, conferencing, control, Dante, and AV-over-IP systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFPs, and client requirements.
• Perform site surveys and participate in technical client discussions.
• Estimate equipment, labor, engineering, programming, and commissioning.
• Account for networking, switch requirements, PoE, and AV infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, manufacturers, and distributors through project handoff.
• Build client confidence through clear communication, practical solutions, and reliable follow-through.
