Job summary
Milestone Technologies, Inc. seeks an AV Events Technician to provide in-room support for large-scale corporate events. You will handle AV pre-production, equipment recommendations, setup, and live execution, ensuring high-quality experiences for streaming and on-site audiences.
The role involves after-hours or weekend work as needed, with a focus on technical excellence and collaboration with presenters and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; experience matters.
- Strong AV terminology and event tech knowledge.
- Experience with corporate events in a professional setting.
- Certification AVIXA CTS is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot AV signal flow and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as event production A1/A2, graphics, or TD as needed.
- Set up, configure, operate, and support event productions.
- Maintain current AV standards and equipment knowledge.
- Be the primary contact for audio/video items at events.
- Ensure high-quality production for streaming and on-site.
- Follow run-of-show for proper show flow and timing.
- Collaborate with crew before and during shows.
- Attend pre-show meetings and review responsibilities.
- Test all playback elements for accurate playout.
- Monitor audio levels and video feeds for records.
