Job summary

The National Western Stock Show in Denver is seeking an experienced AV/IT Specialist to maintain enterprise AV systems, event technology infrastructure, and collaboration platforms for meetings, conferences, and live productions.

This on-site role involves supporting hybrid and live events, providing Tier 1 IT assistance, and ensuring interruption-free AV experiences while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise AV systems and live events.
• Knowledge of AV signal flow, troubleshooting, and production workflows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 admin and end-user support.
• Proficiency in Windows and macOS desktop support.
• Basic IP networking and AV-over-IP fundamentals.
• Experience with live events in large venues or broadcast-style productions.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, setup, testing, operation, and maintenance of AV for meetings, conferences, and live productions.
• Provide Tier 1 IT support across desktop, mobile, and collaboration tools.
• Support Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms; assist with livestreaming and hybrid event workflows.
• Troubleshoot real-time AV issues during events; coordinate with vendors and staff.
• Maintain equipment racks, cabling standards, inventory, and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, MFA, and access management.
• Document incidents and resolutions; escalate complex problems as needed.
