Job summary

National Western Stock Show in Denver, CO seeks an AV/IT Specialist to support enterprise AV systems, event technology, and collaboration platforms. This on-site role also provides limited Tier 1 IT support to the IT team and ensures reliable AV delivery for meetings, conferences, and live productions.

The ideal candidate blends technical AV expertise with calm, high‑pressure performance, reporting to the Director of IT & AV in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise AV systems and live events.
• Understanding of signal flow and live production workflows.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and end‑user support.
• Basic IP networking (DNS, DHCP, VLAN, multicast).
• Ability to work in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, setup, and maintain AV systems for meetings and live productions.
• Provide Tier 1 IT support for end users and collaboration tools.
• Install and troubleshoot microphones, speakers, displays, and video systems.
• Support livestreaming, hybrid events, and recording workflows.
• Document incidents and coordinate with vendors and teams.
• Assist with Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms configurations.
