Job summary

Carilion Clinic is seeking an Audiovisual Systems Specialist I to provide audio, video, and telemedicine support across educational, research, and patient care settings in Roanoke. You will coordinate multimedia projects from start to finish and design room automation and conference solutions.

The role requires an associate degree or 2 years of related experience, plus solid project management and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a media-related field or 2 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field required.
• Demonstrated project management, consultative, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required.
• Demonstrated photography, video production, creativity, resourcefulness, and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides audio, video, and telemedicine support for educational, research, and patient care needs.
• Develops, coordinates, and implements multimedia projects from initiation through completion with limited supervision.
• Designs and programs control systems, conference room technology, and room automation.
• Maintains audiovisual equipment, software versions, and firmware with upgrades.
• Coordinates with client staff to determine audiovisual infrastructure requirements for conference rooms and telemedicine solutions.
• Assists with meetings and functions requiring audiovisual infrastructure, conferencing, webcasting, and control systems.
