Job summary

Captivate, LLC is seeking an AV Installation Technician to join our Regent5 field team in San Carlos, CA. The role focuses on high-end residential and commercial automation, AV, and low-voltage systems with emphasis on clean wiring and organized racks.

You will work on-site from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, earning $35.00–$45.00 per hour. Benefits include 401k with match and health coverage; a strong team collaboration culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites is required.
• Ability to climb ladders and pull cabling.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools; steady work history.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, Coax, Speaker, Fiber and Control).
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices.
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices.
• Read plans, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation.
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain schedule and site safety.

Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 / hour

Description

Regent5 is hiring an AV Installation Technician to join our field team, specializing in high-end residential and commercial automation, AV, and low-voltage systems throughout the Bay Area. Our projects are custom high-end homes, so we're looking for someone dependable and detail-oriented who takes pride in clean wiring, organized racks, and careful installation work.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, High EQ.

Your Location:

• 1300 Industrial Road, San Carlos, CA 94070
• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

Your Schedule:

• 40 Hours Per Week
• Monday to Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
