Job summary

Connect Consulting is seeking a hands-on AV Installation Technician to work onsite at 192 Lackawanna Ave., Woodland Park, NJ. You will pull and terminate low-voltage cabling, mount devices, configure networks, and program control systems (Lutron, Crestron, Savant, C4).

The role offers a full-time schedule, $70k–$100k per year, and opportunities for overtime, healthcare after 3 months, and retirement plan with company match after 1 year.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites is required.
• Ability to climb ladders and work independently.
• Pulling and terminating low-voltage cabling (fiber, speaker, Lutron, Crestron).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills (High EQ).

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron, Crestron).
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires.
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Setup and configuration of devices.
• Understanding of networks.
• Troubleshooting of devices.
• Programming (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron).

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 / year

Description

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, work independently, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

• In-Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

Your Schedule:

• Full-Time | 40 Hours Per Week
• Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm or 6:00pm
