Job summary

Tru-Connect & MSB Consulting Engineers is seeking an AV Systems Installation Technician to install and support audio, video, and control systems in corporate and educational environments in Elmwood/Covington, LA. You will interpret schematics, pull and terminate cables, mount equipment, and ensure a fully functional AV system.

Responsibilities include configuring control platforms, testing systems, and providing on-site and remote support as needed. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; electronics coursework preferred.
• Formal AV installation experience is a plus.
• CTS or manufacturer certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install AV equipment such as displays, projectors, speakers, and control systems.
• Pull, terminate, and label AV and network cabling to spec.
• Mount racks and devices per drawings and specs.
• Integrate systems with Crestron, Extron, AMX platforms.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot AV systems for proper function.
• Document progress and maintain as-built changes.
• Provide on-site and remote support as needed.
