Job summary

AV Solutions in Baton Rouge is seeking a Lead AV Installer to assemble, test, install, train and service AV systems for business clients. You will join a delivery team and aim to deliver accurate outcomes, meet client expectations, and leave a clean site with minimal disruption.

The role requires strong communication, independent work capability, tool handling, and experience with mounting TVs/projectors and Cat5/6 cabling. MS Office proficiency and flexible hours may be needed.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience operating power and hand tools.
Preferred experience mounting TVs and Projectors.
Preferred experience pulling, terminating, and testing Cat 5/6 cable.
Preferred knowledge of audio and video equipment and technologies.
Ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.
Experience with computers (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, Zoom, etc).
Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, plan, deliver, install, train and service AV systems to AV Solutions standards.
Deliver accurate, direct answers and outcomes, exceed client expectations.
Leave a clean site and minimize disruptions for clients.
Coordinate needs, status updates, and related activities with teams and clients.
Report directly to the Project Team Manager.
Assist with ongoing support and client training on AV systems.
