Job summary

Checkr is seeking an AV & Events Specialist II to elevate our meeting and event experiences across SF and remote hubs. You’ll own the AV setup, from rooms to live productions, ensuring top-notch audio and video quality for all-hands and investor meetings.

You will manage equipment, collaborate with IT and event teams, and explore new AV tools to keep us at the cutting edge. Occasional early hours and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience coordinating AV with venues and vendors for offsite meetings and events.
• Clear communication with a calm, service-oriented approach under pressure.
• Deep technical proficiency with AV platforms (Q-SYS, Zoom Rooms, Sonos, dashboards).
• Proficiency with macOS and Windows, plus supporting workplace tech.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment across office spaces and venues.
• Produce and support live events (all-hands, investor meetings, podcasts, live streams).
• Manage AV equipment inventory, with maintenance and replacement planning.
• Collaborate with IT, workplace, and event teams to plan meetings and events.
• Research and evaluate new AV tools and equipment and recommend adoption.
• Coordinate AV requirements with venues and vendors for offsite events.
