Job summary

Checkr, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking an experienced AV & Events Specialist II to own the end-to-end audio‑visual setup for meetings and events, including Zoom Rooms, conference rooms, and live streams. You’ll ensure top-notch audio and video quality for both in-person and remote audiences.

This hands-on role involves coordinating with venues and vendors, maintaining office AV hardware, and mentoring junior teammates. Occasional travel may be required; 3+ days in the SF office per week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience coordinating AV and technical needs with venues and vendors for offsite meetings, events, and conventions.
• Clear communication and a calm, service-oriented approach under live-event pressure.
• Deep technical proficiency with AV platforms (QSC Q-SYS, Logitech Zoom Rooms, Sonos).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment across office spaces and venues.
• Produce and support live events (all-hands, investor meetings, podcasts, live streams).
• Manage AV equipment inventory and prep for onboarding/offboarding.
• Collaborate with IT, workplace, and event teams to plan meetings and events.
• Evaluate and recommend new AV tools and equipment.
• Coordinate AV requirements with venues and external vendors for offsite events.
