Job summary

Avispa Technology seeks an Audio Visual Events Program Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage live in-person, virtual, and hybrid events in Newark, NJ onsite for a 9-month assignment.

The role involves showing leadership to cross-functional teams, coordinating vendors, and ensuring seamless event execution from planning through post-production, including live streams and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Working technical knowledge of AV systems, including streaming platforms, live event systems, meeting systems, cable infrastructure, equipment, and rack systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and guide cross-functional teams on the best approach to events, create run-of-show documents, drive pre-production planning, and schedule event operations teams.
• Collaborate with employees, contractors, and vendors to deliver seamless in-person, virtual, and hybrid live events, manage vendor relationships, rentals, and stage crews, route work across technical teams for timely, quality delivery.
• Serve as show caller for live events, managing real-time production execution, facilitate and monitor key AV meetings and events, including live streams, and perform post-production AV activities.
