Job summary

The University of North Carolina Charlotte’s Student Centers seeks an Audio-Visual Services Coordinator to support the daily operations of AV services for the Student Union, Cone University Center, and related venues. You will train and supervise student staff, manage equipment needs, and contribute to safety and event quality across afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• On-site support for major and/or special events with focus on evenings and weekends.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage AV student staff under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide input for equipment renewal and space planning.
• Maintain facilities operations and customer service excellence.
• Fill in schedule gaps to ensure events have tech coverage.
• Oversee event and equipment setups and safety compliance.
• Participate in Student Employee Experience Program.
• Work nights/weekends with flexible hours.
• Perform other duties within Student Centers.
