Job summary

You will collaborate with program staff, clergy, and communications, including post-production tasks such as trimming sermons and uploading to YouTube. The position requires flexibility for evenings and weekends based on events.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining AV systems in a professional setting, including comfort with sound engineering.
• Basic knowledge of video editing (e.g., trimming video recordings).
• Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, Vimeo, YouTube).
• Knowledge of AV control systems and troubleshooting common technical issues.
• Familiarity with basic IT networking and connectivity for AV systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with staff and vendors.
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment and furniture for event setup.
• Willingness to cross-train in other areas and contribute as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for events and programs.
• Troubleshoot AV issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate with departments to prepare AV needs and deliver a seamless experience.
• Conduct pre-event equipment checks and maintain inventory of AV gear.
• Train, hire, and schedule AV staff as needed.
• Provide on-site technical support during events and worship services, including Fridays.
