Job summary

Oneida Innovations Group is seeking an Event Technology Technician to provide audiovisual support for corporate meetings, training sessions, conferences, and social events at our venue. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot multimedia equipment, ensuring smooth execution before, during, and after events.

The role requires 1–3 years of AV experience, knowledge of sound, projection, lighting, and video systems, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience with audio visual technology.
• CTS certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of hotel event tech and signal flow.
• Proficiency with sound, projection, lighting, and video equipment.
• Experience with presentations, recordings, and streaming software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and guest service mindset.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional image and teamwork.
• Ability to read AV system diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down audiovisual equipment as per daily event list.
• Respond to service requests promptly with guest-friendly service.
• Monitor events and check in on customers throughout the day.
• Collaborate with sales and other teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and hotel staff.
• Upsell and provide superior AV solutions.
• Make quick decisions to resolve issues without downtime.
• Work with cutting-edge Event Technology conferencing equipment.
• Maintain inventory and report out-of-service equipment.
• Assist leadership in identifying continuous improvement for guest experience.
