Job summary

DNEG in Los Angeles seeks a hands-on AV, Editorial & Office Technology Technician to support the day-to-day technical needs of our LA office, covering office technology, AV, meeting rooms and screening spaces. The role acts as the local tech point of contact for employees, production teams, executives and clients, ensuring smooth operation of the office and its creative spaces.

Experience in VFX/film environments and proficiency with video formats and editorial tools is preferred, along with

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in AV, post-production, editorial, office technology or a related technical environment.
• Strong practical AV and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience operating professional meeting-room and presentation technology.
• Experience running or supporting a professional screening room.
• Working knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions and frame rates.
• Experience with Avid, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar editorial tools.
• Familiarity with Mac and Windows environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support for the LA office.
• Support office technology and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, hardware, software issues.
• Assist with workstation setups and office moves.
• Maintain inventory of AV and tech equipment.
• Provide hands-on AV support for meeting rooms.
• Set up AV for internal meetings and client presentations.
• Support video conferencing and hybrid meetings.
• Operate screening room systems and QC content.
• Coordinate with Production, Editorial and Tech teams.
• Support events and executive presentations.
