The position serves as a regional technical authority, ensuring deployments align with global standards while driving adoption of new technologies. This is not a traditional support role; it combines engineering, implementation, and technical leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with a global engineering team to identify and evaluate emerging conference room technologies
  • Conduct proof-of-concept testing in regional labs to validate hardware and software performance within the network environment
  • Lead pilot deployments, gathering user feedback and technical data to refine global standards
  • Collaborate on standardized AV designs for various space types, including huddle rooms and executive boardrooms
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as signal flow diagrams, wiring schematics, and configuration guides
  • Ensure all regional deployments align with global security, networking, and design standards
Regional Technical Leadership
  • Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex AV and collaboration issues
  • Support regional operations and resolve systemic technical challenges
  • Work with AV integrators and vendors to ensure deployments meet engineering specifications
Technical Requirements
  • Expert knowledge of video conferencing systems, AV over IP standards, control systems, and audio DSP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms, including backend management and advanced configuration
  • Experience with Cisco Control Hub and Call Manager
  • Hands-on experience with DSPs, PTZ cameras, beamforming microphones, and large-format displays/LED walls
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and signal flow diagrams
  • Ability to work independently as part of a global team across time zones
Role Scope
Room Deployment Management
  • Support end-to-end deployment of conference rooms and collaboration spaces
  • Partner with business teams to scope, procure, and implement AV solutions

  • Contribute to active and upcoming deployments
  • Assist with stabilization and cleanup of existing implementations
  • Provide engineering input and hands-on support across projects
Additional Notes
  • This role combines hands-on implementation with engineering oversight
  • Strong deployment experience is critical
  • Candidates with AV integrator backgrounds are well aligned
