Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring experienced Cable Technicians for Nashville, TN, with a focus on large commercial installations including stadium and hotel expansions. Contract-to-Hire position onsite in Nashville with opportunities for overtime and long-term growth in the low-voltage field.

Ideal candidates have strong experience pulling and installing voice/data cabling, blueprints interpretation, and the ability to lead helpers on-site while maintaining professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience pulling/Installing voice and data cabling in commercial environments.
• Ability to read blueprints/construction drawings with minimal supervision.
• Experience leading helpers or small crews on-site.
• Customer-facing communication skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and installing Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling.
• Install cable pathways (J-hooks, cable tray, conduit supports, ladder rack).
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Terminate faceplates, jacks, and patch panels.
• Run jobs independently and resolve field issues.
• Provide project updates to site leadership.
• On-site leadership and direction of helpers.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot structured cabling and connectivity problems.

TEKsystems is Hiring Experienced Cable Technicians! Ready to work on some of the biggest construction projects in Middle Tennessee? TEKsystems is actively seeking experienced Cable Technicians to support large-scale commercial projects throughout Nashville, including the new Titans Stadium and major Opryland Hotel additions. What You’ll Be Doing

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
