Automated Lifestyles is seeking an AV Apprentice Technician to learn under mentorship and grow into a skilled Low-Voltage Technician. You will install, troubleshoot and maintain AV systems in luxury residential and commercial settings, with structured training and hands-on field work.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning programming and system setup while supporting warehouse tasks a few hours weekly. On-site, Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:00pm, Mt Cobb PA area.

Qualifications

• Interest in AV & Low-Voltage wiring and installation.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and devices.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Pull, terminate and test low-voltage cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker).
• Mount devices at the ends of wires and build equipment racks.
• Set up and configure devices and understand networks.
• Troubleshoot devices and stage products for installation.
• Progress toward programming (Lutron, Crestron, Josh.ai, networking, security).

Compensation: $22.50 - $25.00 / hour

Description

Automated Lifestyles is seeking an aspiring Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. You will learn how to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems in residential and commercial settings. Through hands‑on training and mentorship, you'll develop the skills to complete installations on time, on budget, and to our standards of quality and client satisfaction.

This role is designed as the entry point into a long‑term career at Automated Lifestyles - with structured training to help you grow from Apprentice into a skilled, advanced technician. While you're learning, you'll spend a few hours a week assisting in the warehouse: staging product for orders, learning how to build equipment racks, inventory, and more.

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands‑on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• A passion for technology and the ability to work with your hands. You want to play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and programming of sophisticated AV and Low‑Voltage systems in luxury residential and commercial environments.

• In‑Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)

Your Schedule:

• Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per Week
• We run 4x10's (Three day weekend!)
• Days Per Week: Mon‑Thurs 7:00am-5:00pm
