Job summary

HEDSouth: Home Entertainment Design South in Hollywood, FL seeks an aspiring Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. You will learn to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring installations are completed on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction.

Hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to learn are required as you grow through hands-on,

Qualifications

• Interest in Commercial and/or Residential AV & Low-Voltage.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and basics.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron).
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading).
• Build and lace equipment racks.
• Setup and configure devices.
• Understand networks.
• Troubleshoot devices.
• Eventually program (Lutron/C4/Savant/Crestron).

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour

HEDSouth is seeking an aspiring Low-Voltage Technician to join our team. You will be learn how to install, troubleshoot, and maintain low-voltage systems in commercial and residential settings. Once we get our hands on you, you will be able to ensure that installations are completed on time, on budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients!

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands‑on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

Your Location:

• In‑Person (Not Remote or Hybrid)
• 2010 Thomas St Hollywood, FL 33020

Your Schedule:

• Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per Week
• Days Per Week: Monday to Friday (7:30am-5:00pm)
