Virginia's Community College System is seeking a Facilities Projects Support role to bridge between Auxiliary Operations and Facilities Project Managers. The position coordinates schedules, tracks action items, and maintains project documentation across multiple NOVA campuses.
Responsibilities include providing technical support for ACEPrint, Mobile Credential, EDA, and VMS systems, attending meetings, and ensuring timely completion of tasks. Some evenings/weekends may be required.
This position will act as the primary bridge between Facilities Project Managers and Auxiliary Operations. The position is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation and timelines, attending project meetings and walkthroughs, tracking action items, coordinating equipment turnover, and ensuring Auxiliary Operations tasks are completed according to project schedules.
This position will also provide technical support across the college for the College’s print management system (ACEPrint), One-Card ID solution (Mobile Credential), Electronic Door Access (EDA), and security camera infrastructure (VMS). This includes all software and associated hardware.
This position is eligible for telework after completion of state one-year probationary period.*
Must be able to Pass CJIS Level 4 and FBI and Virginia State Police background check.*
This position is funded with non-continuous or non-recurring funding and is subject to continuation based on fiscal year funds and the needs of the college.
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
