Stony Point Orthodontics and Children's Dentistry in Richmond, VA, is seeking a compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. You will support dentists chairside during pediatric procedures, sterilize instruments, take X-rays, and help educate families in a warm, kid-friendly environment.

If you have radiography certification and CPR/BLS, you will thrive in our team-oriented, fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus.
• Radiography (X-ray) certification required or ability to obtain promptly.
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with children of all ages.
• Strong communication skills with both patients and parents.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures and examinations.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatory rooms between patients.
• Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed.
• Help create a calm, positive, and welcoming experience for young patients and their parents.

• Manage dental supply inventory and assist with front office coordination as needed.
