Job summary

Vitana Pediatric & Orthodontic Partners in Celebration, FL is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our private practice. You will assist the dentist in procedures, take radiographs, record histories, and help patients feel comfortable throughout treatment.

We value a patient-focused approach, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 1 year of experience and X-ray certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of dental assisting experience.
• X-ray certification is preferred.

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Take patients' medical and dental history
• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
• Provide Pre/Post OP instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures.
• Teach patients oral hygiene to maintain oral health.
• Chart/enter a treatment and notes into EagleSoft.
• Perform dental cleanings/prophylaxis, fluoride application, and sealants
• Sterilization and cleaning chairs
• And other tasks to keep our office clean and tidy

• And other tasks to keep our office clean and tidy

Requirements

• MUST LOVE WORKING WITH CHILDREN.
• 1 year of Dental Assisting experience
• X-Ray Certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time:

Monday - Thursday

Hours

7:45am - 5 pm

$18 - $22 an hour
