Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Sciences or equivalent certification required.
• 3–5 years Autopsy experience preferred.

• Proficiency with computers and ability to work with staff across departments.
• Safe handling of lab tools and respect for PPE procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in autopsy services including inspection of consent forms and body tagging.
• Assists with dissection and examination of organs, and with closure of procedures.
• Maintains autopsy suite cleanliness and organization post-autopsy.
• Mentors residents on correct autopsy methods and techniques.
• Follows safety procedures and SOPs for specimen handling and processing.
• Adapts to changing schedules and supports team tasks as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
