Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Software Engineer, Journeyman, to design and develop software for aircraft autopilots and avionics. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to integrate software and hardware, and participate in both ground and flight tests in a mission-focused, DoD environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; MS preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of work experience with C/C++ and Qt.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in the field of aircraft avionics.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience with a Real Time Operating System.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
