Raydar in San Francisco seeks an experienced Autonomous Systems Engineer to scale autonomy on real mining vehicles. You will help make autonomy work in production, improving sensor and compute integration across teams.

Requirements include 5–8 years in robotics or AV systems, strong Python/C++ on Linux, and hands-on experience taking platforms from prototype to production. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on autonomy deployment on real vehicles.
• Experience taking prototypes to production.
• BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsabilités

• Integrate and validate autonomy on real haul trucks and production systems.
• Own system-level integration across sensors, compute, networking and software stacks.
• Lead bring-ups for multiple OEM brands with sensor calibration and performance tuning.
• Build diagnostics, validation criteria and release gates for production readiness.
• Collaborate with planning, controls, operations and safety teams to ensure robust autonomy.
