Job summary

raydar seeks a Senior Robotics Systems Engineer to scale autonomy deployments on real haul trucks in mining environments. The role requires leading system integration across sensors, compute, networking and software stacks with hands-on field experience.

You will drive truck platform bring-ups with multiple OEMs, develop diagnostics and release gates, and collaborate with planning, controls, operations and safety teams to ensure robust autonomous behavior.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in robotics or autonomous vehicle systems engineering.
• Hands-on autonomy deployment on real vehicles.
• BS in Robotics, CS, EE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate autonomy capabilities on real autonomous haul trucks from prototype to production.
• Own system-level integration across sensors, compute, networking and software stacks during testing.
• Lead technical execution for new truck platform bring-ups across multiple OEM brands.
• Build diagnostics, validation criteria and release gates for production readiness across a growing international fleet.
• Work with planning, controls, operations and safety teams to deliver robust autonomy behavior.
