Rivian is seeking an Autonomy Systems Integration engineer based in Palo Alto to develop and deploy Rivian's ADAS/autonomy data collection platform. You will work on HIL benches, in-house ECUs, sensor integration, and loggerware while collaborating with Rivian software teams across locations.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware/software bring-up, cross-functional collaboration, and on-site work with occasional travel to meet development and testing needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or closely related field.
• Ability to work in office 5 days a week; you are a person who runs towards solving problems.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash and C++ for developing, testing, and deploying automated driving applications.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Strong knowledge of ADAS sensors (Lidar, Radar, Camera) for data collection and applications.
• Knowledge of network architectures (TCP/IP, UDP, PTP, hardware layer).
• Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle tools.
• Hands-on experience with HIL or bench test environments, including test automation in Python/pytest.
• Experience with embedded Linux bring-up and debug (bootloaders, kernel/driver config, PCIe/Ethernet).
• Ability to read schematics and use lab equipment (oscope, logic analyzer, DMM) for HW/electrical debug.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and improve Data Collection HIL benches (hardware and software); develop automated test cases using pytest and Linux tools.
• Support bring-up and integration of in-house high-compute ECUs for data collection; OS/BSP integration, interface validation and HW/SW debug.
• Support initial integration of new ADAS sensors (Lidar, Radar, Camera) onto data collection platforms; network config, time-sync validation, data-quality verification.
• Support development, maintenance and validation of loggerware tools and OS; including logging hardware bring-up and bug fixes.
• Triage system hardware and software bugs on bench and vehicle; reproduce, root-cause across electrical, firmware and software layers; escalate by impact.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and support integration efforts for Data Logging architecture development.
• Document integration procedures, test results and bench configurations for hand-off to platform and operations teams.
