Job summary

Scientific Systems Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design MBSE-based architectures for autonomous and uncrewed systems. You will develop interfaces, perform system-level modeling and analysis, and lead architecture development using tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw and AFSIM.

Join a team focused on autonomy for aerospace/defense, with opportunities to collaborate across domains and support DoD processes; travel up to 15% may be required and a US security clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with autonomous systems development, integration and test.
• Proficiency with MBSE and SysML tools.
• Experience with modeling and simulation (M&S) tools such as AFSIM.

Responsibilities

• Support SRR/PDR/CDR/TRR reviews and develop interfaces and viewpoints.
• Perform system-level integration and testing to meet requirements.
• Define and document system requirements, interfaces and performance metrics.
• Lead autonomy architecture development and act as customer liaison.
• Model and simulate using MBSE and tools like Cameo/MagicDraw.
