Job summary

Anduril Industries in the United States is seeking Software Engineers for its Maritime Division. You will drive end-to-end software for autonomy, simulation, data processing, and mission support across robotic and off-board platforms.

You will lead design, development, testing, and deployment, mentor teammates, and travel up to 20% to co-locate with end-users. A bachelor’s degree and eligibility for a U.S. Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in robotics, CS, or engineering.
• Extensive experience as a software engineer across domains and technologies.
• Strong skills in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scalability, testing, and software design.
• Experience troubleshooting remotely deployed software systems.
• Ability to own software services, engage stakeholders, define requirements, and manage roadmaps.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Empathize with end-users to balance needs and constraints.
• Own software-enabled solutions deployed to customers.
• Design and implement scalable software with a path for evolution.
• Develop reusable software components across Anduril products.
• Develop software for both robot and off-robot platforms.
• Define and execute development processes for vehicle and mission software.
• Create test and simulation fixtures with software- and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Support vehicle manufacturing and deployment.
• Mentor software engineers from diverse backgrounds.
• Travel up to 20% to co-locate with users or teams.
